He specializes in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Respiratory disorders, Growth & development, Neonatology etc. Dr. Gupte occupies a pride of place as a distinguished pediatric educationist, clinician, researcher, innovator, and author at national and international standing. He has several times represented India and Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) at several international conferences, workshops, symposia, seminars around the world as a Guest Speaker, Chairperson and Visiting Fellow/Professor. Currently Chairperson of the prestigious Children’s Health Centre, an initiative of the Charitable Pediatric Education Network, UK. He is also Professor & Head (Emeritus), Postgraduate Department of Pediatrics, Mamata Medical College/ Mamata General & Superspecialty Hospitals, Khammam, 507002, Telangana, South India.
